With the level 4 stars of AIDA international education system, the goal is to become an expert freediver and te be able to assist freediving instructors. This is a big step ! Achieving Aida level 4 is the last step before to become a master freediver able of diving safely up to 40m deep. An intense course during which you will learn the skills of experts in the field.

Obviously during this level we will again go deeper and longer. More safety skills also are to be acquired and demonstrated, since safety will always be the most important aspect to consider during your freediving career. The theory classes will also get more precise, deeper in the subject and your understanding of the science underlying freediving will definitely become more accurate. You will learn to become an expert freediver and act as a freedive instructor assistant.

 

Same way than for all proposed courses, you can do this course in 4 or 5 days. 4 days are generally enough but it can be nice to profit of an extra day to do some more dives or breathold max attempts to integrate that new knowledge and skills of yours. Feel free to choose and to contact us to set a planning.

 

This course includes a digital theory support, freediving student insurance and AIDA international certification fees. But it does not include the entrance fees to Fanar Beach (100EGP). Equipment can be borrowed to you if we have your size available, please contact us to check.

REQUIREMENTS: Paperworks, basic swimming skills, snorkeling skills - Be 18 years of age or older (16 or 17 years old with parent or guardian consent) - Have completed the AIDA2 course or have completed the AIDA2 Crossover Evaluation if crossing over from another freediving agency

The course is designed to further develop skills from previous levels, to acquire new skills and gain a higher knowledge of safety procedures and techniques. The new techniques that are introduced are free-fall, mouthfill Equalizing, the use of training tables, the risks of increasing and decreasing pressure and also how to minimize these risks. You will also learn how to manage a proper set up and organise training sessions. Students will train these skills in the most common disciplines of freediving: Static Apnoea, Dynamic Apnoea, Free Immersion, Variable Weight and Constant Weight.

The theory will include: Physiology, Equalization, Barotrauma, Lungs at Depth, Buoyancy, Shallow Water Blackout, Training Concepts, The Mammalian Dive Response, Decompression Sickness , Surface Intervals and the Freediver's Code of Conduct.
