WHERE TO START WITH FREEDIVING ???
You are a complete newbie in freediving?
If you've never tried freediving before, i advice you to start with "Discover your Breath" if you have only half day or with an "AIDA level 1" if you have a bit more time (2 half days or one full day).
Careful that there are some fitness and health requirements to participate to these courses. While registering you'll be asked to answer certain questions about your medical history and overall vitality. All courses in the water implies you're kind of a good swimmer and feel quite at ease in the water. You have already used fins and a snorkel and enjoy snorkeling? You're good to enroll...
Discover your breath (half day - dry land)
During half a day, i will guide you through theory about breath and relaxation. I will also have you practice breathwork and breathold. It's only on dry land and does not include open water sessions. More infos about this course here...
AIDA level 1 (2 half days / 1 full day - dry and open water)
The course splits in two parts. One part dedicated to theory, breathwork and relaxation practices during which you will also perform some breathold. The second part will bring us in open water trying ourselves at vertical freediving. More infos about this course here...
You are an adventurous snorkeler?
AIDA level 2 (3 days full time / 4 days part time - dry and open water)
If you've managed to get through "AIDA level 1" freediving course or if you have already tried freediving or even just if you're used to snorkeling, you can jump straight to "AIDA level 2" freediving course.
"AIDA level 2" freediving course lasts 3 days full time and features theory sessions and briefings, breathwork and stretching, 5 water sessions and an online exam. More infos about this course here...
